Posted - Jan 04 2010 : 09:27:26 AM Hey thanks Kristin. I love to muck about in thrift stores and antique stores for as much as it is to make a "find" as it is to take a trip down memory lane.... |

Posted - Jan 02 2010 : 10:29:09 AM Found a Red Lobster glass the other day. Did a 'girl's day out' with my friend who collects them. We were wandering the thrift store and she had mentioned it. Then I looked up....and there was one right on the shelf above my head!!! It was so fun! LOL I was so excited I think I must have squeaked or something cause she turned around so surprised.... Anyway.... I don't collect particular "stuff" anymore but it was fun to look for her. Thanks again to everyone who was out there hunting them down for me... |

Posted - Aug 21 2009 : 08:12:11 AM Hi! I have one!!! I use it as a vase. It's actually sitting empty on my kitchen counter right now. It has a little bit of that gunk in the bottom from being used as a flower vase. Are you interested? |

Posted - Aug 20 2009 : 07:18:48 AM Hey! Thanks everyone!!! I have looked everywhere. Found LOTS of interesting glasses...it's amazing what you can find when you start paying attention...but no lighthouse.... :-(
I do remember when I was a kid we had tons of glasses from our jelly. Oh and some meat product my mom like to eat...those were small. I think it might have been corned beef? She would shred it up, mix it in a white sauce with peas and serve on toast. My dad had a VERY colorful name for that particular dish...from his army days! LOL....
Anyway...thanks again for looking! |

Posted - Jul 15 2009 : 8:16:34 PM I know I have some of these somewhere. My mom and I collected them when i was young years ago and they should still be wrapped up in the original paper from the red lobster LOL. I will ask her to look at her house and I will look through some kitchen stuff boxes here. |
