My kind neighbor loaned me some stamps. I was putting the letters on the block and one of the small e's dropped off the block and I can not find it anywhere. I hate this and would like to get her another complete set. This is what I need: Close to My Heart acrylix stamp set B1160 Private Eye Tiny Caps.
I will pay money or barter for wool.

Lillian, I would really appreciate it...pray she has a set. The local consultant does not have a set and she has went on a website trying to locate a set. No luck so far!

Sarita- If you were using the acrylics stamp set then it was not from the 95 catalog. I am right now looking in my winter 2005 catalog and it is in there. Would you like me to call my consultant and see if she has a used set in her "for sale" box?

Also thank you for your wheel advice!

Lillian, I would go to the shops as close to your home as possible and try some wheels out. If you were comfortable with the one you learned on, look for that brand. I shopped around for awhile and chose one that the owner of the shop was very nice and gave me lots of tips. Also go to your wool and sheep shows. Susan's is at so many shows and she advertises in Spin Off, she goes to shows and is so helpful and demonstrates all of her equipment. Do you get the Spin Off Magazine by Interweave Press? They have a nice web site.
Also look for any local guilds or spinning groups, they are usually very helpful and sometimes you can buy a second hand wheel from one of the group's members.
I have also purchased a Louet off of Ebay and it is a lovely wheel that is easy to operate and it came from the Netherlands. Be careful about buying a wheel that might not have all of its parts and remember if they say they spin doesn't necessarily mean that you can spin wool on them.
Thanks so much for your help with the stamp set. I called the consultant in this area and she said this set was last seen in the 95 catalog...My Luck!
Good luck on finding that wheel...I enjoy mine so much!

Sarita- I was a consultant about 12 years ago for a short time. Most of mine are the rubber stamps with wood backing, but I must say that I have a nice collection of the acrilics going too! I havent been to the website in a while but it should give you a name of a consultant in your area, if not let me know and I can give you the name of mine. Also I have just recently taken a spinning class (took me forever to find one in this area) and will be in the market for a spinning wheel soon, any good ideas where to look?

Lillian, how did you get your stamps, at parties or are you a consultant? I have tried to email the company but no one responds to me....I just hate it that I lost a letter, I looked for days, of course it is clear and fell into my carpet.
