This is a softcover book by Anne LaBastille, it's about her time in Guatemala trying to save a species of waterbird that eventually went extinct. It's a really moving book documenting the decline of that individual species and her work to save it. It's a bit of a different tone than her other books (Woodswoman, etc.) but is a very good book. It's 313 pages and has lots of pictures in the text.

Hey! I have some seeds from my flowers I collected last fall and lots of other seeds but they're old ones. What kids are you looking for? I would love the book as I have read Woodswoman and loved it and have wanted to get her other books but haven't as of yet...so many books...so little time. Let me know what seeds you would like or tomorrow I can let you know what I have...I'm in bed right now...Ha! Ha! I LOVE my laptop! Just let me know and maybe we can "strike a deal"!
