For those of you who don't have a spinning wheel, but still want to spin...
I have TWO (2) 3" Schacht Hi-Lo spindles. DD and I took a class - I can't handle the wool (sorry all my sheep friends - love the sheepies, but their wool doesn't like me), and between the two of us and hours of trying, neither of us got it. They both come with directions. They are beautifully crafted and well-made.I can send separately or together - just let me know. These were $15 when purchased new. They are in excellent, like new condition (one still has the original card attached).
I'm really flexible about bartering. Just looking for those old green buttons right now (flat with holes - no shanks) and flannel. Will also barter for handmade items. Make me an offer!

Ann, I would be interested in them!!!!! I may have green buttons! I have a bunch of old buttons. What kind of flannel are you looking for? I also have all kinds of handmade stuff!
