I opened my newspaper this morning to my usual Life section and saw an interesting cooking idea called a Bake Over. I thought to myself, that's interesting, doesn't Mary Jane have something like that and isn't it copyrighted? Hmmmm Well, when I started reading the article, it was indeed about our Mary Jane and her Bake Over recipe. I am so pleased indeed to read about it in my local newspaper.

Congratulations Mary Jane. You've done it again!

The article in The Buffalo News was written by Sharon Thompson of McClatchy Newspapers.

Was the article written by a Lexington, KY author?

MJ in The Buffalo News!!

Just the other morning while having my tea and reading the morning paper (from Buffalo, New York), I ran across a section entitled "Bakeovers: Meals in a skillet" Bakeovers, bakeovers, I thought; that sounds like Mary Jane, and much to my delight as I read on, I was right, it was our very own MaryJane!

Congratulations MaryJane you've made headlines again!!!

I dunno, Jodi - most days a baby could lift the TriCity Herald with its pinky finger.

I should subscribe to the Tri-City Herald! If they're gonna have farmgirl shtuff.... It's bigger than Walla Walla's Union Bulletin, anyway......

It will probably come up on tricityherald.com later on - I looked at the website and they had last Wednesday's food articles posted but not today's. I'm glad Betty pointed that article out since I never got past reading the election results this morning!

Betty,
The Prosser Chapter (Prosserfarmchicks) have had the local media (Tri cities, Yakima, Prosser, wine press and others) at several of our meetings and gatherings and they are doing a great job (all of them) in promoting the "farmgirls"....I suspect you will be seeing a lot more in the weeks to come :)
