I've been looking for one too, Bev! I guess I'll try ebay. Hadn't thought of it before. I tried Lehman's, but they seemed to always be out of stock. Guess it's cheaper to buy new ones...I really dislike that mentality.
Off to ebay!

Beverley, I have one for you. It came from my ex-husband's family, and I have had it lo these eleven years since the divorce and haven't gotten around to finding out his address so I could mail it to him. So, I am officially ending the search and am happy to pop it in the mail to you. Email me your address. Judy

I actually have 2 of them but they are packed up for when I move, sorry, if I had a clue what box they were in I would part with one, I'll keep my eyes open for one at the thrifts I frequent.

They are wooden and look the shape of an egg with a wooden handle. You use them to darn sox with. You put them up in the sox and then your needle can go back and forth without your fingers being up in there and getting picked.

Hi Beverley~ I unfortunatly don't have one but I've never heard of a egg darner. Can I ask what they are used for? What do they look like. I'm just curious, so I thought I would ask.
Have a great day!
