Posted - Sep 29 2008 : 7:21:22 PMI'm looking for a set of wool hand cards for a reasonable price. If any of you have a set lying around that you're not using anymore, please send me an e-mail as I have all this wonderful clean wool now and no way to card it! Thanks!
Posted - Oct 01 2008 : 09:30:47 AMThere is a spinning shop about 50 miles from here, so I"m going to go talk to that lady and see what she has before I do anything. Thanks for all your help everyone!
Posted - Oct 01 2008 : 08:55:16 AMSherri, It may be worth it to invest in a pair of hand cards! The least expensive I have found is a pair of Howard hand cards on ebay for 44.00! Good Luck with your wool!
Posted - Sep 30 2008 : 05:42:42 AMI'm using a couple big dog slickers in a pinch. Pd $4 ea at Big Lots. I don't need to card a lot but it's worked great for the small quantity that I have needed to card. They're even slightly curved. ;)
Posted - Sep 29 2008 : 10:50:42 PMI found some on ebay - but it cost as much to ship them as the carders so I thought I'd look a little more. I may have to end up there though!
