I'm looking for a set of wool hand cards for a reasonable price. If any of you have a set lying around that you're not using anymore, please send me an e-mail as I have all this wonderful clean wool now and no way to card it! Thanks!

There is a spinning shop about 50 miles from here, so I"m going to go talk to that lady and see what she has before I do anything. Thanks for all your help everyone!

Sherri, It may be worth it to invest in a pair of hand cards! The least expensive I have found is a pair of Howard hand cards on ebay for 44.00! Good Luck with your wool!

I'm using a couple big dog slickers in a pinch. Pd $4 ea at Big Lots.
I don't need to card a lot but it's worked great for the small quantity
that I have needed to card. They're even slightly curved. ;)

I found some on ebay - but it cost as much to ship them as the carders so I thought I'd look a little more. I may have to end up there though!
