I'd like to trade for these fabrics -- two are 1 yd (tan with snowmen and the one with ribbons and holly); two are approx 1/3 yd (brushed cotton print and the plaid with snowmen); and one is 1/4 yd (plaid with gold threads).
Looking for vintage sewing or paper ephemera . . . or what do you have to offer? I'm not looking for a big-deal trade, just a little somethin'-somethin'.
Let's talk!

Posted - Sep 28 2008 : 05:28:40 AM I'm interested in the fabrics - I'll have to see what I can find. Somehow, I always end up doing Christmas quilts for charity, and to be able to barter for them instead of paying for the fabric really appeals to me, especially if I can clean out something from my own stash. I am a paper crafter as well, but I think what I have is too "modern" for what you are looking for. I also knit, crochet and sew. Maybe we could work something out there. |

Posted - Sep 27 2008 : 2:17:29 PM I love old stuff -- like old ledger sheets, old paper price tags or paper coatcheck tags, little gift cards, vintage Christmas stickers or paper or cards. Anything old and interesting. Even vintage (1940s-1950s) report cards, kids' drawings / workbooks, and flashcards. I like to do collage and altered art / ATCs.
In my last trade, I received rickrack, handmade soaps, and buttons -- and I was thrilled! Always open to more rickrack (especially the really tiny 1/8" stuff). And vintage needle papers.
But I'm open to other suggestions as well.
