Yes, it is a transfer, Aunt Martha's #3903. I don't know if it is an old one or not as I got it at a garage sale. If it is old, since you are close maybe we could figure out some way you could use it too.

Karen - Michelle/Huckleberrywine and I were looking for some seed packet type images to embroider for our chapter banner. Is it a transfer of some kind? What is the name of it? Oh and I love the fabric too

Oh you will have so much fun Karen. Embroidery is one needlework that I never tire of. I love to try it all and especially also love to quilt and knit, but embroidery is my first love. Be sure to show us what you end up doing!!

Oh, wow, Jenny, that is so cool! Ha! A step back in time. BTW I love your embroidery work and you have actually inspired me to try it out. I got an old Aunt M pattern recently with old seed packets to embroider. I looked on the website and saw some real cute striped towels and thought I might give it a try. I haven't done any embroidery since the 70'd! Thank you for taking me back too. K

Well,I guess I am feeling old tonight! Sorry! I mean my daughter was born in 76 so she would beg to differ with me on that also! I'd better change that. Heee Heee, that got a smile out of me. And it was very popular to use starch and put this type of fabric on the wall, like wallpaper. It sure was easy to take off when you got tired of it. Ha. K
