[blue][font=Comic Sans MS]Hi everybody! With Fall coming up soon it's time for a Farmgirl Tiara swap :) Let's sign up through August 20th and then exchange addresses with partners and send them directly.
Made from vintage or new hankies, bandanas, pillow case ends, quilt cutters, holey aprons (strings already attached!) and of course, an actual Tiara is always wonderful - we're worth it :) just something fun and pretty that to YOU says Farmgirl Tiara :) the pics are always terrific! just use your imagination and let your creativity run wild :)
I've done past swaps of these in groups and it's always so fun! once we get partners you can further personalize :)
Let's see, how about the end of September to mail? too long out?
HI! We drew pairs out of the pail last night :) Everybody contact your partner directly when ready to mail and post pics when they arrive if you can :)

Okay I am running a bit behind. Feeling a bit better. Thanks Kim! But I am mailing out my tiara tomorrow but thought you all might like an advance peek.
I made it out of whips of Russian olive, copper wire, pretty beads, a good dollop or two of hot glue and a headband. My camera isn't doing so good in the low light of evening. The beads aren't very clear, but they are pretty!

Kim: thanks for posting a pic. I may have never gotten around to it! Last night we went to a combine demo derby at teh fair and all I could think of was "how cool would I look in a pink farmgirl combine with that on my helmet???" ohhhhh the silly ideas I have for this thing. And I promise to document them ALL!!!

And I do have green eyes....I wore the cap the other day and two friends asked where I got it because they wanted one!

I just had to write again. I heard the truck pulling in the drive so I carefully placed my tiara on my head...turned on the blinky lights and walked out to see him. He started laughing and says" What the H*ll is that? Is that your tiara??" I was laughing and said yes. I told him that i was going to wear it for luck at my first pull and he said " oh no your not!" Which pretty much seals the deal that... I will. Oh Kim, thanks for a good time!

Kim: I thought of your red hair when I did that ball cap... I was wondering if you had green eyes and could totally see you wearing it out to the barn or riding. Oh....I am wearing my tiara right now. I pinky swear. If I'm lying may you-know-who strike me dead right here. I just want to see the look on hubbys face when he comes home from farming....hehe. I just gotta say... if I ever do this again, I'm doing something as cool as this. My first tractor pull... I'm wearing this! As if everyone doesnt think I'm nuts enough....!

LOLLLL....you have no idea how glad I am that you 'get' the Tiara!! Hubby and son were mortified that I was going to send it to someone. I told them it was a 'girl' thing and Dawn would understand. I forgot to tell you in the note about the Tiara having LED lights...how cool is that??! The only caution would be that the ink on your name isn't waterproof, so don't get it wet!
I need to get a pic taken of the one you sent me and post it. Can't wait to see a pic of you in your Tiara!!

Girls: I just got my tiara from TabithaL....let me just tell you that it is flippin hilarious! Its a green paisley sunvisor, with a yellow tie in the back. Tabitha (Kim) wrapped a wad of pink tulle around it with an actual tiara centered in the middle. She made an iron-on of my screen name... and the best part of all? IT LIGHTS UP! NO joke! This is by far the coolest thing ever and it suits my personality to a tee! As soon as I can, I will get a pic of me wearing this thing while driving the tractor in my apron! What a HOOT! Thank you girl!!!!

I got my Farmgirl Tiara from DeereDawn on Saturday and it's just perfect! It's a tan baseball cap with metallic bling...very well done! She also sent an herb smudge stick and a bracelet and earring set that she made. Love them all! I'll try to get pics taken today and post them. Thanks Dawn!

Mara - a farmgirl tiara can be just about anything that exists as a head decor/covering etc. in the imagination of a farmgirl :)
