I am not sure if it is feasable to barter this but I thought I would give it a try. I haved an old singer treadle sewing machine that needs so work. It does not have a bobbin (vibrating shuttle) or faceplate and needs a new belt. The decals are in alright condtion. I don't remember when it was manufatured, but I could look it up again. I know it is around 100 years. The wooden case is in pretty good condition and has all the drawers. I am not at all sure if it could be shipped, so someone in western missouri or eastern kansas would probably be my best bet. Or I am open to suggestions! Will barter for anything you feel is an equivalent. I have MANY intrests. I also have pics.

Send yoru box yesterday - lots of stuff for nedlefelting. We did a needlefelting class here at my shop a few years ago and folks had SUCH fun with the dyed wool lock and dyed mohair locks so I put some of those in, as well as roving, soap, jam, and other stuff. If it's not to your liking, let me know and I'll see what else i can come up with!!!

Tracy, I hope you find one! Check craigslist in your area. I always offer to barter with people even if its not listed that way. You might get a good suprise and they might say yes!

Hi Christa. If I were close I would trade just about anything to get your treadle. It looks just like my husbands grandmothers machine that I got rid of back in 2000 when we moved to the coast. I have not been able to locate one like yours: decorative drawer fronts. Tracy

Jessie, Freecycle is stuff for free and Craigslist has both for sale and for free.

Levisgrammy(Mom),
Isnt craigslist for giving things away rather than bartering or selling them? Maybe I'm thinking of something else though?

you might try putting on craigslist for your area.

It's sounds pretty..

the issue for most of us would be the weight for shipping of course..
You'd be better off trying to find someone near by you..

Maybe see who lives close by.. or modify your post to say something like that..
You know.. ** Attention Kansas City Vacinity**

Good Luck!
