Sound fun?

Ok, here's the specifics:

*Handmade - however that works for you, sewn, crocheted, knitted, felted, whatever your specialty, recycled or repurposed fabric is fine. Just make sure they are quite sturdy.

*Size - holds approximately the same amount as a standard plastic grocery bag.

*Quantity - for this first one, let's stick with one bag for one swap partner.

*Sign up - deadline is Aug. 22

*Delivery - deadline is Sept. 26 (please let your partner know when you've received your bag)

If I've missed some info, please let me know. I'll start a list right here as people express interest. You will send a bag to the person right above you on the list, the person below you will send you one. I will send a bag to the last person. Please contact your recipient for mailing address.

If you need any help finding a pattern just let me know!

Have fun!

*Once you receive your bag please let me know so that I can note it on the list. I will change the color of your name, since you are now "going green"!*

Theresa,
first, "awww, shucks!"
but seriously,
Sarah's bag went out in today's mail from KY, it won't take long to get to IN!
I'm sure she will let us know when it gets there.
I've emailed her privately to let her know it's in the mail also.
Peace,
Joy

Theresa,
I did contact Sarah yesterday and she does still need a bag. It will hopefully hit the mail this afternoon when I go home for lunch.
I'll let you know for sure when it has been sent.
Thanks,
Joy

Thanks Joy!

I did try to contact her again. But I've got SO much going on right now I can't figure which way is up! I think she does need one still.

Teresa,
it looks to me like Sarah is still without a bag, is that right? I have one ready and waiting to hit the mail, but need to contact her to be sure she hasn't already received one.
I will let you all know what I hear back.
Thanks,
Joy

Corinne, do you mind if i stash it with licorice instead of chocolate?? lol.
I am not a real chocolate fan but LOVE the Dutch soft sweet licorice, HHHHMMMM.

I took it with me yesterday and it holds many groceries, my friend loved it too, lol. But I told her, IT IS MINE!!!!

Hugs from Marian/Dutchy, a farmgirl from the Netherlands :)

Ok, great!

Joy, you are a rockstar! Thanks so much! I'll pick up the next two on the list: Nicole and Sarah, if they have sent a bag out. Hopefully, someone else will give us a hand filling in the gaps. I will also try to contact the remainder of the ladies who haven't noted they have received a bag. Again if you have received a bag and your name is on the list on page 9 of this post please let me know ASAP (besides Dutchy, see that you got yours!). Thanks!

Hi Karen,
I've been in contact with Kelly via email and will let her know that her bag will go out tomorrow or Monday. There's no reimbursement needed, that's not how we do things around here!
We've had a recent coyote problem so will be up most of the night tonight trying to put a stop to it.

I'll let you all know when it goes out!
Thanks,
Joy

Hi Theresa,
I can take care of Kelly Wall and Herbquilter. I'll let you know when those two go in the mail.
Thanks,
Joy

Thanks, Theresa! Just be sure to let me know who's doing the sending so I can thank them. And thank you for being patient with me. I'm still on the look out for something in exchange for the 'Plain and Simple' book. I'm just not getting around to the cool places much these days - just the boring gotta-do's.

God bless -

Ayyyhhh! Oh my gosh! I have promised to send Beverley's bag twice now and its still in my car. I'm so sorry. With girl scouts, soccer, my handful of a teenager and a new job I've taken on...I pretty much stink! I will go and mail it right now! I'm going to the post office this very moment. I'm sosoosooososooo sorry Beverley!

Marian, I am so happy that it came, even very late, and most of all that you lik it. You might have noticed that it is slightly stretchy, that gives more room for the chocolate.
Enjoy, that was a GREAT swap for sure.

I GOT MINE TODAY! YIPPEE!!!
It is SO cute, and SO pink, lol.

Thanks Corinne, I really love it and am going to use it often.

Loved this swap, any more in the future, lol

Alright lets see where we stand. . . here's the list of those who have not yet received a bag:

Dutchy (Marian) - bag has been sent
Kelly Wall - bag being sent by Joy
herbquilter (Kristine)
futurefarmgirl (Nicole) - should receive this week from Sarah
scwagner (Sarah)
Beverley- bag in the mail
Karla Kay - bag being sent by TheresaB
tempestastrali (Magdelina)

I'm thinking Dutchy should receive hers soon, so that leaves 8 ladies. If you were supposed to send a bag to one of these ladies can you please email or post to let me know if you have one to send or have sent one yet? Don't worry, all of us bite off more than we can chew sometimes. There are plenty of farmgirls here to help out, I just need to know who needs the help.

In the meantime, can we get a couple more volunteers for filling in the gaps by sending out a second bag?

Volunteers:
1. TheresaB
2. knitnick (Joy)
