Posted - Oct 16 2005 : 3:59:39 PM I went out in my yard today ( I have a yard now!!!) and picked up tons of pecans from the ground ( I have a pecan tree now!!!) If you would like me to send you a lot of fresh pecans (as many as a Priority box from the Post Office will hold) then reply here. I will draw from the first five names I receive. Sorry, but you have to shell them yourself...

as i am late to this wonderful offer I want you to know of the blessings come from giving and it seems as if you have given graciously. May god give back a hundred fold to you and your family.
God Bless

Posted - Oct 19 2005 : 8:19:49 PM Kim, I am not sure where Arrington is, but I am 76 miles east of Nashville. If you look on a map, go east on 40 until you see Cookville. Sparta is 11 miles south of Cookville. I have only "lived" in TN for three days, but I already love it. I am in Sacramento, CA as of today for a show, and then have my last one next weekend in Bellevue, WA. After that, I have three months until the shows start again. Who knows what will happen between now and then? I do know that I will be having scrapbooking retreats and quilting retreats at my home when I get it renovated. Kind of like a bed 'n breakfast for crafters. These will go on about every other month, and the rest of the time, I will have a crafter's gift boutique where local crafters can display their products, and a Victorian tea room. So many plans that I will share more about on my blog, as soon as I have it sorted out a little clearer in my head. Hope you come up to TN!!!

Posted - Oct 19 2005 : 8:06:58 PM LisaBee, sorry I missed the pecan drawing. I was just in Nashville the first week-end in Oct. First time to TN!!! oh and I'm so ready to move.I have some good friends who are managing a vineyard in Arrington about 45 min. from Nashville. Is that close to you? I've got them looking for me for farm work, caretaking - anything. I figure this second half of my life should be about adventure. Wish I was close to that scrapbook show too...i love it and would love to see what all is new. Your job sounds great, traveling as a rep, right? I have a feelin' with your new place you're gonna wanna be home sweet home. Have fun gettin' settled in. have a safe trip!

Posted - Oct 18 2005 : 07:58:52 AM Oh Lisa, I just saw that I won the pecans!!! I am thrilled to get Pecans from TN. Did I mention that I LOVE TN and have family there and will be flying in to Nashville next Monday!? I would LOVE to come to the Scrapbook show, but I will be driving back from Oak Grove, KY, with my daughter. So sad, my daughter LOVES scrapbooking. I wonder if she would like to take a road trip to Sparta? I'll send you my address just in case. Thanks sooooo much!!! Nancy |

Posted - Oct 16 2005 : 6:46:38 PM Nancy...you are the winner. Let me have your address, please, and I will send them to you. Or, if you would like to come to the Scrapbook show in Bellevue (October 28-29) I will be there and can give you a pass for the show, too.
For the other four of you, please give me your addresses, too. Sometime well before Thanksgiving, I will send each of you a box. (Did I mention there are a LOT of pecans? I just have to pick them all up.
If anyone else wants to come to the show, just let me know. I can have passes waiting for you.
