Posted - Oct 16 2005 : 08:14:50 AM Hi all I would really like to get the latest issue (or any previous issue for that matter) of the MJF magazine or the US Countryside magazine, and I will gladly swap it for the latest issue of either Country Living UK, or Country Smallholding (see: www.countrysmallholding.com) or any other magazine from the UK! Is anyone willing to swap? Thanks, Debs |

Posted - Oct 23 2005 : 12:52:15 PM The recipes look wonderful, so I'll have to enlist my sons to help me convert metric measurements! I can do it, but they can do it fast! |

Posted - Oct 23 2005 : 08:28:19 AM B&N and Borders get some of the Brit magazines but they're always a month or so late but who cares? I love them. I sometimes buy their cross stitch magazines, too.

Posted - Oct 22 2005 : 9:44:21 PM I found the British edition of Country Living at Barnes and Noble this week - I LOVE it! It's the September issue, so I wonder if we get them a little late here. Anyway, I will keep buying them, but do plan to hang on to them. If you haven't been able to find it, look at B&N. |

   Hey Farm Girls!
Wow does all of this UK talk take me back. In the mid-70's I lived in Bedfordshire, was familiar with St Albans and spent every minute that I could in Cambridge. One of my favorite places was Heffers Bookstore.

Posted - Oct 16 2005 : 3:26:28 PM Hi Debby ~ I'd like to swap, too. Is there anything else you'd like from the US? I get just about everything. I'm a magazine fanatic. I would like sewing magazines or embroidery or quilting magazines from the UK. BTW, my husband used to live in St. Albans and had an apartment in Cambridge at the University. Do you ever get out to St. Albans? (45 mins outside London)
Thanks!! Patricia
