This is my first posting and I'm a little nervous. I am on the look out for reasonably priced table loom. I have recently started spinning again and would love to start weaving on something small.
I would like to hear from other spinners as well.

I have mocha brown or black icelandic wool to trade and some white mohair.Mine is raw too.

It's so nice to be part of this group. Any dyeing techniques would be appreciated as well. I have a fleece of chocolate brown alpaca to share or trade for other fibers to spin. It is raw with some vegetable matter but not to dirty.

Wow, you will love weaving, I have just learned with the help of gals on the forum and a woman who lives about 1 hour away for lessons.
I have done scarves and table runners so far.
Get the word out in you town that you are looking for a loom, you will be surprised how many are around and sitting and collecting dust.
That's my plan to do when I decide to get a floor loom.

I have an inkle loom that was given to me. I would love to find a good home for it. It makes a long "strap" when you weave..like for a belt or guitar strap or suspenders. If you are interested click on my name and email me and we will talk.. I have moved it around for two years and havnt' got around to using it. You may be interested in a frame loom though..don't blame you..they are nice too..but if you are interested let me know!!
Welcome to the group by the way!! I am a spinnner too..there are a few of us..quite a few now..in the group. I have icelandic and churro sheep (just a few) and one angora rabbit, and an angora goat for fiber animals and love to spin..mostly to knit with the yarn, but I do a little navajo weaving too.

Howdy neighbor and welcome!! (I'm in Wenatchee.) I don't have a loom, but am glad that you found us and hope you'll join in! The Member tips post in the Welcome Category is full of get acquainted info! Don't be nervous!
