Hey gals....
in honor of Anne of Green Gables 100th birthday....and since I live on Anne's Island....I thought I would do an Anne giveaway. What I am giving away is a hand painted Anne ceramic figurine. It is so beautiful and great for the Anne lover out there.
If you are interested, let me know and I will put all the names in a hat and draw for it on Monday.

Hey...we have red dirt here in AR too in places! Love what you did at the library, Lori!
I wanted the videos and looked on Amazon and the set was like $80.00!!! In talking to my daughter she told me she had them! So, I am picking them up when I go up to Iowa to see her next week! Exciting stuff that little Anne!

Congratulations girls, and thanks Melanie! You inspired me to set up a display in the library where I work, in honour of Anne's 100th. I have all the L.M. Montgomery books we have, and some souvenirs of mine, from previous cherished visits to the island. In my display are a soft Anne dolly, a bottle of the famous raspberry cordial, a map of PEI, a mason jar of red soil from PEI (sorry, I took some home!), and a poster I created showing the stamps and commemorative coin.
I also have gotten our library to obtain the new prequel by Budge Wilson!

Well gals...this is fun for me too.... I am so blessed, truly blessed, to live on this beautiful island. I will never take it for granted. I thought that I would share a wee bit of Anne with you. I am packaging your things up today.

Way to go Debi and Susie!!!CONGRATS! Even though I didn't win I had a great day.....got my Economic Stimulus check from George and found a $20.00 bill on the way back from the mailbox...plus there were no bills that came in the mail! I am a HAPPY GIRL! YESSIREE BOB!
If you can ....take pictures and post them of what the rest of us missed out on. And thank you once again for hosting this Melanie..it was such fun and I bet the odds are WAY better than the lottery!

for those of you gals waiting so patiently, thanks.....I gor called into work today. Anyway....I just wrote out all of your names. I 'll get hubby to draw one name (for the figurine) and then we'll put it back in and then draw for the mystery Anne gift.

Yes Kate, the stamps just came out this week. There is one of Anne by herself and one of her beloved Green Gables.
