I just received a package from Kathie and it had lots of little goodies in it and a sketch pad and colored pencils. It came at just the right time. I was feeling quite alone. The cards and notes have died off. The phone calls and visits from friends and family have too. Oh I know life goes on and I really am not complaining. Monday I start chemo therapy, Tomorrow go to the hospital to have a port put in to my chest. And I'm going to lose my hair!! I gave all my hats away after the last hair loss. GRRRRR
Back to Kathie, you my friend are a perfect peach. Thank you

Sorry, I am on my daughters computer and didn't realise I was on here under her! How funny. My computer had a break down and is in the hospital! LOL

Linda,
Just wanted to send my prayers for you. My third daughter out of four had stage 3 breast cancer and went through the hair loss. I know how it feels as a mother to watch your child go through this at age 28. She had been looking forward to having a little girl to go with her two boys but that wasn't meant to be.
She is doing wonderfully now and almost kept her head bald because she grew to like it so much. Before she had beautiful red silkie hair and it was wierd to see the change, but she has her red hair back a slightly different shade and she keeps it short.
If there is anything you need please feel free to email me and let me know. Keeping the port clean and taking good care of yourself is the best. I will be here for you and keep your prayer list.

I've been sitting on it for the longest time.. looking for something i wanted get out to you that i have lost SOMEWHERE in this mess of a sewing room of mine!!! It's perfect for you & I've had it forever! But now of course i can't locate it.. I just keep pushing it to the back of a drawer.. So.. until then.. Draw away Sister Dear..

Well darn Linda-I had no idea. You will certainly be in my prayers and thoughts. I wish you the best. I know it might be a rough ride for a bit, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. Hang in there girl!
