Hurray!!!!

The skirt is just too cute -- a little big around the waist but not falling off so I'm just gonna leave the elastic with the assumption she'll probably grow into it. And the kids LOVE the books you tucked in as extras. Thanks so much,

Robin

Jennifer,

Thank you so much, but I think one pair will do me for now. Someone else will probably grab them up!

If you are in the market for more than one pair, we have a like new pair of red/black and white. They are very traditional looking, with low heels. (size 9) let us know!!

Would love one of your tiered skirts for my daughter!!!!!! But I don't know if the one you have up on Etsy would work -- she's tall and thin for a 4 year old. About 22 inches around and is wearing her skirts about 19 inches long? I guess I could tighten the elastic a little if it slipped off...

We should PM to work out the rest of the details probably.

Best,

Robin

Robin,

The boots sound great! I'll take 'em! Anything in my etsy shop is up for swap as well. I have TONS of hardback childrens books (most are like new, my MIL keeps sending them bless her heart), toys and the like. I have some fabric, I don't keep a large stash, use it up pretty quick. I have some yardage of Michael Millers Retro Kitchen ladies baking with aprons, think it might be called Home Ec. Have random homeschooling stuff, christian books, Singer books "Sewing for the Home" and "Sewing for the Holidays". Phew! I could keep going, but I'll wait. Tell me if any of these things spark your interest.

Ooh, these things sound perfect! I can either make you a bag for your clothespins, custom colors, the whole shebang, or I can get you some lovely handmade soap from a lady who lives in the town where my mum is (her little shop is SO cute, I'd LOVE an excuse to visit it!). Or if you'd prefer, I can send you a MO, totally up to you!

Jodi,

I'm looking for a cute bag to keep my Clothpins in for my outside line. I'm in need of jar candles and soaps (any scents), I collect barn Stars and Roosters. Is any of this okay or do you want to send me a MO?

No holes, no marks except a little scuffing on the toes.

Well, I'm a big sewer so any supplies/patterns -- have got a size 7 girl and a 2T boy who need clothes, wood toys and hardcover children's books -- interested in shabby chic stuff... I checked out your swap list and it looks pretty well picked over, but maybe you have some other junk hiding in your attic to trade? Some unused 35mm film maybe <snicker>.

Oh, and I checked the Nucona website and looks like I was right -- there is only 1/16 inch difference between a ladies 9 and a men's 8, so these should fit alright.

Lemme know.

Robin,

I guess as long as they don't have any holes or anything they'd probably be just fine. What would you like to trade for?

Theresa,

I'm sorry -- no picture and no digital camera. I can take a coupla photos with my trusty rusty Canon AE-1 and try to get film developed this weekend if you are interested (I have pictures from our farmgirl chapter meeting on there too that need to get digitalized, so it'll just get my behind in gear to have one more set of important photos on there).

Sound good?

Well, lol, what do you think would be fair? Maybe give me a few ideas for what you've got in mind, and then I'll see what I can come up with!

Ooh, Heather--if Theresa doesn't want your 8 1/2 cowgirl boots, I'd be interested in trading for them!

Lessee -- Gorgeous black Nuconas, well broken in but in very good condition (need polishing, I used them for riding before I lost my horse). Size 8c (mens I think, they fit my size 9 foot perfectly - and I'm pregnant right now!). I'm too attached to my lacers for these to get real use anymore, so will trade for ??? Let me know.

Thanks all, for the tips. I've checked the Goodwill for months, never finding my size.

Heather, thanks so much, but I'm afraid my once 8 1/2 feet are bigger now for the same reason as yours, 3 pregnancies.

Bonne, thanks for the Saver's info, I occasionally get up to Ft. Collins.

I have a pair of cowgirl boots size 81/2, worn just a couple of times. Since being preggers 3 times my feet have spread. Nice Brown pointed toe. Let me know if these will work, we can work something out

I don't have any Theresa - but I wanted to tell you I looked and looked for some for a couple of years and finally found a pair in SUPER good shape at the Goodwill in Prescott AZ for $10. So, don't give up and know that those broken in ones are the best!!!
