Ok, ladies, here's a crazy list of things I need to clear outta here:

1. A-line crinoline (petticoat, hoop slip, etc.) for weddings, re-enactments and the like. It's brand new, never worn, it was purchased to wear with a costume but didn't arrive on time. So, it's just been hanging out in the closet. TAKEN

2. Island by Michael Kors, Ladies designer fragrance. 1.0 Fl. oz. bottle, minus 2 or 3 squirts only. It's quite nice, was a gift. I just have a favorite perfume and don't tend to wear anything else.

3. Pride & Prejudice, Jane Austen. . . (I KNOW I'm not the only Janeite here, right?!) Hardcover with dust jacket, Barnes & Noble Classics edition, very nice! I have two of the exact same book so if I get rid of one I'll have an excuse for a new book, right? TAKEN

4. Newport News swimsuits, 2 of them. One size 8, deep purple, swimdress, stretchy faux velvet, very glam. One size 10, eggshell, swimdress, same stretchy velvety stuff. Both are one piece, although they are called "swimdress". They've never been worn.

If any one has serious interest in any of the items just let me know. I didn't want to hassle with pictures if no one was interested. Let's see . . . things I might be interested in for barter, fabric is always good, books, oh I don't know, tell me what ya got!

got the book and crinoline..Thanks so much Theresa! I tried it under my Civil War skirt today and its perfect! The crinoline peeks out a bit, but nothing that cant be fixed by re-hemming my skirt(skirt is shorter because of the whole "no crinoline" issue...haha)
Thanks a bunch, I love it!

So glad you had another copy or 4 for Frannie to pick from! I was willing to give up the other, seeing as how I have already read it, just don't own it...

Tina,

The crinoline is adjustable in the elasticized waist. I just measured it: 22 inches unstretched at the smallest closure, 38 inches tightly stretched at the largest closure. It's approx. 40 inches long, however, it "flounces" up obviously. It's a 4 layer crinoline, outer nylon layer so dresses flow over it, 2 inner layers of the bulking netting, and the inner layer of a nylon type of fabric to keep in comfy against the body.

Still interested?
