I been playin' around with a tradin' page. So now I have 2 of three site posted in my signature line if anyone interested. I have books, and a few other things. I will be posting more as I go through stuff before our move. Hope everyone enjoying the winter days...

Just checked it out. Extremely high in nitrogen, Comparable to (bat dung. 4-3-2)
Alpacas is 2-1-1 because they have 3 stomachs, I read.
Extremely good for bad soil, so we go Ladies.

Cool, that a idea. do you know if llama manure is any good. There is a huge farm down the road. Of coarse, theres are cows, and horses. I am going to do some checking.

Maybe local people will barter with you for produce ? I am going out to this farming flea maret in spring and leave cards with alot who sell garden plants. I sold at this flea market for 2 summers and traded alot of stuff then. I didnt go last year and i should have . I can get horse manure form work so i am gonna even offer bags of it for trade to people in town here who garden :)

I will do some bartering on canning items, but we are waiting to move, so there won't be much. local stuff this year. But I will make up cards.

BLog looks great !! Do you take local barters ? If you have a list of stuff like gardeneing items you are looking for you could do a local section . Esp works out if you have cards made up with your barter blog on them

Debi, what sizes of fabric pieces are you looking for? My daughter would enjoy the prairie girl book, I think. I have lots of fabrics, but not uniform sizes. Let me know what in more detail you're looking for, if you don't mind. |

Oh wow! I make the best huckleberry mixed jelly/jam and huckleberry pie filling which I love to can. Its a true blueberry but has a lot more gusto in flavor, they goes for $ 50.00 a gallon because because of gas prices. and tourism wants them. I can't wait. I have some in the freezer, I might have to make some up. Thanks.

Hope your arm gets better soon ! Once people know you barter local it can be fun. When i use to make renaissance cloaks all the time i would trade them around halloween . I collect alot of sci fi books and i got piles of them that way :P One of neighbors has a tow truck --last summer i had to have my car towed to garage and she traded her hubby towing me for a necklace and ear rings for her daughters birth day . Saved me fifty bucks ! Bonne and i have had an ongoing barter for about 6 yrs now ---about every month we are swapping a box of something . She makes the most awesome jelly . It is like a taste of summer .

Thanks, Lisa! I will take your advice and see what happens. Its a wonderful idea, I will work on a format sometime today. You have fantistic ideas yourself. I was trying to come up with tradin for fabric for my charities. That way I am not buying all the time. This winter its not been easy going here, with all the snow. I usually do my shopping 75 miles away (Better choice) My stash starting to get slim pickin's. Now with my arm in the sling, i don't want to drive that far.
I appreciate the ideas just throwin' this way anytime.

I like the trade blog ideas too. Debi --you should print some cards out with your blog addy for local barters. I have some and hand them out to friends and neighbors . Sometimes the neighbors have extra garden produce and trade with me . You would be surprised what people will trade for things. I just agreed to trade bunch fingerless gloves for girlscout cookies this morning ! I added your trading blog link on my barter page.
