Posted - Feb 03 2008 : 3:14:32 PM Oops! Bought the wrong kind of bobbin for my sewing machine. I will happily forward my unopened package of Class 66 bobbins to anyone who can use them. Package says, "For top drop-in bobbin cases...fits all Singer class 66 models...." |

Posted - Feb 04 2008 : 07:34:57 AM I cked the manual, Peggy, it seems to take a specific type of bobbin even though it's a drop-in (like class 66 are) http://www.brother.ca/en/products/pdf/manuals/CS6000-UG.pdf (see pg 15) The 66 class can be used on many Singer treadles and later "electrified" Singers & slant foot models. May be worth the gamble though, just to see if it does fit. Here's what the Dritz site says:
Dritz® Class 66 Bobbins • Curved sides and slightly narrower than Class 15 bobbins. • For top drop-in bobbin cases. • Dritz Bobbins are available in metal and plastic. Sewing Machine Compatibility Fits Some of these machines: Baby Lock Brother Simplicity Singer – Class 66 machines Fits NONE of these machines: Bernina, Elna, Husqvarna/Viking, Pfaff, Janome/New Home http://bonne1313.blogspot.com/ Blog http://www.bonne1313.homestead.com/soap.html Soap
