Patchwork Pictures: 1001 Patterns for Piecing by Carol LaBranche up for barter -- along with The patchwork Pattern Book by Carter Houck. These are copyright 1985 and 1981. The first is hardcover; the second is paperback.

Patchwork Pictures is a resource book for quilters who like to do their own designs. The patterns are drawn on precise grids for easy transfer, and these pieced blocks can be combined to create an almost endless variety of designs. Patterns include houses, flowers, trees, baskets, alphabets, people/animals/objects. Also includes a few color plates of antique quilts -- beautiful.

The Patchwork Pattern Book includes lots of traditional patterns, including Trip Around the World, Cathedral Window, Schoolhouse, Tulip, Baby Blocks, Churn Dash, made into various projects such as eyeglass case, crib or lap quilt, phone set, tablecloth.

I'd be happy to trade with you for a bit of fabric, soap, crocheted facecloth, or what do you have?? Let's talk!!

Oh, and please be willing to complete the trade by January 15.
Thanks!
