My mom and dad run a B&B and my mom asked for some breakfast cookbooks that have pictures in them for Christmas. I have searched two bookstore as well as amazon.com with no luck. I am looking to trade for or buy some if you have some good ones. If you have some you like and aren't willing to part with but could post the titles that would be really helpful. Thanks!

I have borrowed this book from our library, and it's very good.

Here's the link on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Country-Living-Breakfast-Cookbook-Lucy/dp/1588163636/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1196359902&sr=8-1

They're out of stock but have several used copies available.

Julie, If I can find it in all of this remodeling, I'll just try to get my sweetie to pop it off to you. I don't need anything for it but a hopefully happy person to enjoy it.

Wishing you joy in small things and peace in your heart

I think I have a brunch cookbook, that I'm not using. We have everything in tubs with remodeling, so let me look tomorrow. It has a lot of very nice photos =)

I would also suggest in addition to the MaryJane book and magazine to go to your closest large bookstore and just spend some time flipping through cookbooks. Some of the larger more famous ones have amazing pictures and recipes even though the cookbook might not be devoted soley to breakfasts.

Julie-
Mary Jane's Farmgirl Wisdom book has some great breakfast recipes (breakfast Quinoa and muffins)with pictures as does the Farmgirl Kitchen Issue of the magazine (scones, biscuits, gussied up pancakes -my favorite, sticky buns, egg puffs, crepes, bakeovers, etc and those are just the 'breakfasty' ones) the great thing about those is that they can all be made with the budget mix-
The farmgirl bag with budget mix and the magazine would be a fun gift. I have the bag (it is made VERY well with beautiful soft fabrics and hand embroidery) and I use it ALL the time to keep my datebook and stitching projects contained.

Good Luck! Rebekka

Gail Greco has written some marvelous B&B cookbooks .. and she is the sweetest person. I had the pleasure of meeting her at our homemaker's meeting in Annapolis, Maryland.

thanks jennifer. It's a great list but most of them just don't have pictures. Mom was real particular that she wanted pictures.
