I was thinking of a Runner Swap for the end of January. To be in the mail by January 27th.

You can quilt, embroidery, felt penny rug style, crochet, knit.
And I was thinking One on One Exchange. Sign ups close on: November 15th. I will assign partner right after.

You will discuss with you partner what she looking for and the rest is up to you. I will use myself as a example, listed below

I would love a fireplace runner done. My fireplace mantel measures 12 x 50, and I thought a 10 x 46 would look nice. My fireplace is locate in the living room and my living roon is theme NW Wildlife.
Examples, Moose, Deer, Elk, Bear, cougar, Trout. colors: forest colors, brown, gray, muted green, cream, tan, atumun leaf gold, very little of burnt orange and rust. Let's keep it simple.
so what do you think?

Oh Please don't forget about me!!! I have been prompted by Robin to "Keep up"
I guess I'll have to do better. My kitchen is red and I like most anything country it can be red, biege, black or green or any combination. I love sheep, goats, chickens, cows and veggies or fruit. I am also a gardener of veggies and flowers.
Sounds like fun,
Becky

I do can. I make lots of salsa, and put away anything else that I can grow or get my hands on. My parents have blueberry bushes that are fabulous. I am in the process of getting animals, my daughter wants angora rabbits and I want chickens. My mom has chickens and goats. She has a new dairy goat that is due in February. Lots of fun. What about you anything good like that?

You did good on the questions, that what I wanted to know. do you can veggies? Jams? Have animals? I don't need measurements it was the shape I was after and estimated 4 x 6 was good enough. Thanks.... Now I sit and simmer and see what the old kettle can brew...

I live in an old farmhouse newly renovated. My kitchen is country and my table is rectangle. Maybe 4x6, or bigger. I'm not home right now to measure. I'm out of town working for the next 5 days. If you want more, let me know. LOL

No particular measurements. It will be going on my kitchen table. My kitchen is very country, red, black, yellow. And I love chickens. But anything pretty much goes in my house. I'm not hard to please, I just love handmade.
I have all of your measurements and colors. I have a few things in mind.

Well, farmgirl1 looks as tho, its you and me. I really thought this would be fun exchange. I did not think a simple tablerunner would be a hard thing to do. I was concerning in doing 2 when I do the exchanges and give the other for a gift. I am in secret sister/partners exchanges, on my site, at church, bees w/o borders, my quilt guild, and a crochet site I belong to. I need to finish 3 of them. I will 2 of them this week. How about you?

I thought this would be a perfect time to do this, when its slow after xmas, I am always bored. And a way to get that tablerunner done for the perfect place. The pattern left up tothe maker. I thought the size needed, colors, themed or not would be helpful.
