Sadly, I'm almost done my season, so no more blacksmithing for me this year. I want to eventually set up a little forge in the fella's workshop - probably next year. When I get back to making things I'll let you know!

Hi Meggie,

Do you sell your iron hearts? Can you post pictures? I'd be interested, to buy or barter one or two if you do. I'm in Virginia, but can give you a family member's Canadian mailing address (ontario) if you prefer not shipping to the USA.

Thanks,

Jo

You are so welcome Rhonda! I am very glad it got to you so quickly! I can't wait to see that quilt all put together, so kitchy and fun, isn't it? That cow is a funny one- I picked him up ages ago at my museum giftshop- but who does one give a cow finger puppet to? Easy - a farmgirl! Yep, I sure did make that iron heart. I blacksmith at work (on a 19th century forge!) and when I have time I experiment abit and the hearts are my favourite. I have one hanging in my kitchen too.

Have fun sewing, cheers! - meg
