Hi Ladies.

Crazy Alee is starting another swap!

'Tis the Season to give and recieve gifts and I always love secret Santa type exchanges. So if you would like to join in a Secret Santa swap, post here or send me an email. I will make a list and put everyone's name in a hat. I will draw your name and keep it secret. You will send me a gift for your secret santa along with enough money for me to forward the gift along. I thought about exchanging names and addresses, but I wasn't quite comfortable with that.

And here's the Twist! I know of a two little boys who might have a sparse Christmas (and in one case no Christmas) so I would love it if everyone could tuck in a present for a boy 7 or 10 years old. It could be anything- Socks, a card game, a kit to make his own checkers set, anything you think a boy of that age might like.
I just got an email reminding me that one of the boys was older than I thought so if your present is geared more towards the 10yr old, please give me a note letting me know. Thanks!

Afterwards, if there are enough swappers, then I will divide the gifts to the boys evenly in half and send them on in time for Christmas.

So if you would like to have some fun, and get a suprise gift, please let me know!

Hi Ladies-

I haven't gotten any packages for the younger of the two boys. Please let me know if you have sent a package to me in the mail. I really need to get this wrapped up so they have a Christmas this year.

I must have missed something.... I am trying to get a shipping address for my secret gift and the little things for the boys. Also, should the secret gift be wrapped? I have sent a couple of emails but no response so I wonder if my email isn't working properly. Please advise.

So how are you doing Alee? I haven't heard from you in a bit and thought I'd stop by.
We just added a single mom and her triplets she just had in Michigan and she is homeless. I am hoping to get updates on here so if there are ladies with baby clothes, gently used or whatever she is really in need. I found her in anews paper article.
Anyway, not saying this had anything to do with this post but updating you on our latest mission.
Hugs to all the wonderful farmgirls and I pray you have the best Holiday Season ever.

Secret Santa is always so much fun.

I won't be joining this one, as I have waaaay too much on my plate for Christmas already, but I thought I would add my two cents: Alee, you might reconsider being the "mailbox" for the swap, as then the participants will have to pay double postage, once to send to you and once to send from you to their SS.

I have seen the postage rates go so high, even for small things, that I have to count that in when I do a swap. Like on the thrift store swap, I think we all spent more on postage than our items cost!!! LOL!!! Anyhow, just a thought.

On the only other group online I participate in, the swappers give the organizers their addy and then mail directly to their SS. Saves on postage and on YOU having to make so many trips to the PO at a busy time of year.

But you're the swap mom; I just thought I'd point out the postage thing.

Y'all have fun, FarmGirls!
