Posted - Oct 03 2007 : 5:47:24 PM I made a whole slew of this great stuff this summer with the catnip I have growing wild as well as some I cultivated. It's great for many uses. I use it in tincture for bug repellent. There was a study done recently by the University of Minnesota that found catnip tincture to out perform Deet. We use it here for that purpose only but it could also be used for an injury treatment, for a sedative, stomach aches, toothaches, colic, cramps (really any kind), menstrual regulation, and the common cold.
I'll send it out in 6.5 oz jars.
Make me an offer, I like all sorts of things!

Posted - Oct 04 2007 : 1:37:20 PM I will attest that catnip oil is by far the best for insect repellant!
What ratio of alcohol to catnip did you use??
