Kathie, My shawls go for anywhere from $250-$450ish.. depending on what kind of fiber I use. Handspun alpaca being the most expensive, handspun wool the next.. then I take into consideration how much time went into the processing of the wool. Something made with a factory spun yarn would be less expensive unless it cost an arm and a leg to buy it..
hope that helps.

Kathie-

You should go for it! You make rag quilts, don't you? Bet you could do a great blanket and I am sure that shawl would look absolutly fab on you!

Wow Debra..
That is a REALLY beautiful Shawl..
Are you looking to trade The Shawl for THE Quilt though??
I know i'm really not familiar at ALL with anything hand woven.. I know how much time goes into them.. & the wool is just phenomenal too.. iknow people that have their own wool & dyes etc..
i'm just wondering about the pricing..
Is it comparable..?
or is it just something that between the two bartering person they work out?

i think I'm asking really what the price of these shawls usualy goes for?

Inquiring minds you know..
As i said.. i have no idea at all..
Simply beautiful though..
