Posted - Sep 19 2007 : 7:22:39 PM Hey there.. I'm wanting to barter for all sorts of seeds..the unique/heirloom varieties are what I'm looking for. Both flowers and veggies. Things that are not readily available at the local Walmart or Kmart..ha. Perhaps seeds that have been passed down from family members..something fun you have grown and had rave reviews about..you get the idea. Flowers, in both annual and perrenial..and unique veggies. Lets make a deal.

Tina, Would you like some of the really good cantalope seeds I've saved? I'm getting a box ready to send you and can add them to what's already in there. My Dad taught me years ago to save the melon seeds if it was a particularly good one for planting the next year. He grew the very best melons...but then I thought anything he grew was wonderful! 31 years and I still miss him every day. Ronna |

The more the merrier.
(I'm actually going to be going by the Habitat for Humanity store here to see if I can find some supplies for building a potting shed. ...Once hubby gets to feeling better.)

Posted - Sep 19 2007 : 7:26:56 PM but any fun/pretty unique flowers/veggies will work..not just heirloom varieties. I'll trade for whatever.let's talk.
My plan is to try to start selling small containers of plants locally through our advertiser paper to start..then build from there..but I have to start somewhere.:0) and what better way than to go with items/varities that have been "tried and tested" by my fellow farmgirl friends?!
