Hey there..
I'm wanting to barter for all sorts of seeds..the unique/heirloom varieties are what I'm looking for. Both flowers and veggies. Things that are not readily available at the local Walmart or Kmart..ha.
Perhaps seeds that have been passed down from family members..something fun you have grown and had rave reviews about..you get the idea.
Flowers, in both annual and perrenial..and unique veggies.

I have a few Moonflower seeds that were from this years plant-. They were huge and so sweet!Very tropical.

Tina, as soon as though go to seed I will have plenty of garlic chive seeds. And I might have some bee balm. It has been so dry here that I'm not sure if there is any seeds left on the plants. If your interested just let me know.

Tina- I have some hollyhocks, loufa (the gourd that you can peel and then use for a bath scrubby, spinach, little finger carrots (from seeds of change) and some squash seeds from a farm just over the hill here;)They are from friends organic gardens. Let me know what sounds good and I will pop them in the mail.

I have some moon flower seeds, but its not the vining type, its a bush type - also have some rose of sharon and

I'm still wanting to barter for seeds if any of you have any extra to spare. I'll be having hubby help me to build an outdoor mini greenhouse/seed starting area soon..and hopefully getting a wee potting shed planned out soon.(going to check out our local Habitat for Humanity thrift shop for supplies)
Anyhow..if you have any extra seeds that you have collected I'll be more than happy to send you a wee gift in exchange for some seeds. Thanks so much!

Tina,
Would you like some of the really good cantalope seeds I've saved? I'm getting a box ready to send you and can add them to what's already in there. My Dad taught me years ago to save the melon seeds if it was a particularly good one for planting the next year. He grew the very best melons...but then I thought anything he grew was wonderful! 31 years and I still miss him every day.

I hope you get better soon. I've been nurse maid this week to my hubby who has had the flu.
So..I can certainly sympathize. Get better soon!

Hey Frannie could I get some of the sunflower seeds and can yuo send a little note with the history again. My grands love them and that would be so cool to pass on and share with them next year. I don't have any hierloom or special ones at the moment. Give me some time.....hmmmmm

tina dear .. i'll be happy to send you some of my BIG sunflower seeds .. not so unusual to be sure .. but they originally came from my best childhood girlfriend, Grace .. who got them from her own dear momma's garden .. i now grow them here at Freedom Valley Farm. My plan is to try to start selling small containers of plants locally through our advertiser paper to start..then build from there..but I have to start somewhere.:0) and what better way than to go with items/varities that have been "tried and tested" by my fellow farmgirl friends?!
