Posted - Aug 25 2007 : 6:30:14 PM I just received two dozen DEE-licious biscuits via Carol Sue's brother in a little swap CS and I did a couple of weeks ago. She had her brother bake his famous biscuits for me, that I remember buying when he had his own restaurant. I never thought I'd taste those again, but wonders never cease!! My daughter picked them up on her way to our house and when she got here, there was mysteriously only 23 biscuits, but I couldn't fault her too much. Gobbled one up myself then froze the rest for future treats. Thank you Carol Sue and Gary!! |

Posted - Aug 25 2007 : 11:07:42 PM I wish I could make them like my brother does, he dumps in flour, shortening, mixes with his hands I know he uses buttermilk. He just has the knack for doing them, an excellent cook. His restaurant hasn't been around for 20 years or so and people still ask him when he is going to do another one. Okay, Sherri, I am drooling..... Carol Sue

Posted - Aug 25 2007 : 7:20:08 PM Texture and flavor. They are tall and soft and taste like sweet cream. Best biscuits I've ever eaten. |
