I have an old Tarot Deck -- from 1971, the Rider set -- very cool images -- unfortunately, only 76 of the 78 cards are here. Before donating it somewhere, I thought I'd offer it here for barter. It could be used in Halloween decorating -- make a garland of it, or a 'spray' of cards on a wreath, or scattered across a table -- or even themed invitations. Or you could use it to tell 'incomplete' fortunes! (The instruction booklet is included.)

You can see the Rider Tarot Deck on ebay to check out the images on the cards, which are full color and fancy.

Anyone interested??

Great!!! I'm SO happy that you liked everything!!!!

Yours is my VERY first Attempt at a Reversable Apron!!!!
I kept wearing it Back & Forth from yje living room to the sewing room showing it off..
My husband would just glance over at me & say..
"yep.. It's beautiful.. your going to end up keeping it if you don't take it off though..."
I knew he was right!! So I had to hurry & Wrap it up before I changed my mind on That one!

I thought it turned out SO cool!

Glad your happy with everything.. !

Kathie, dear! I received a wonderous box from you today -- I am simply blown away! How generous you are -- TWO mini aprons, a me-size apron, two fat quarters, lovely buttons in a wee MEngelbreit hat box, and those little lawn chairs are too too cute. Thanks bunches! for a fab barter.

Hello Kathie! Yes, I'm the Illinois Katie -- I'll email you my address again, if you need. I do like older-looking things -- check out the fabrics I found on my blog, if you want an idea of what I like. I'm not into 'theme' fabrics; love the old, vintage look. Love love love old buttons!

So . . . just send what you think I'd like, I guess! I hope you like the cards -- they're pretty cool.

OK Katie girl.. I've strolled around the house & surveyed..
you know I'm not a quilter,.. I just pretend to..
( yes..VERY scary indeed..)
But i've asked my good friend Carol Sue to explain exactly what a fat quarter looks like..
Yes.. after she stopped laughing.. she told me..
I'm SURE I have THIS!! I don't have any TRUE vintage Fabric.. but i do have some nice looking pretty stuff..
I have some buttons.. Sounds like your looking for older looking things?
Remind me Katie Which Katie you are Please!
Illinois Katie..?
& exactly what you'd like.. or what color fabrics then you'd prefer.. if you want to be surprised.. !

Tasha -- Cards will be in the mail to you today! (I included a couple of stickers for your girls . . . wish I had some Egyptian goddess ones; these may be too flowery for them, but oh, well.)

Kathie -- I think I have your address; will mail to you today as well.

Thanks for the trades.

OK, Tasha, I found the other deck (complete). Here's a picture:

The images look like woodcarvings, I'd say. Nice, clean set.

What do you think? Do you wanna trade?

Kathie -- What do you have to trade? I'm up for vintage/vintagey-looking fabric (fat quarter or more), or some yo-yos, or a teatowel or apron? Rick-rack, old buttons, old paper stuff, ephemera, old ledger pages. Or what have you?

Tasha, I may have another Tarot deck -- not as old as this one. But I'll try to hunt it down and even post a pic if you're interested in a trade.

Thanks, girls!

Is it the major or minor that the cards are missing from? I have a deck that is missing a couple of cards from the minor and I have made new ones. They have served well, just FYI.
