My neighbor called this evening to tell me she found a package in her garage that's addressed to me; our mailboxes are next to each other. She never closes the garage door, and our rural carrier leaves any packages for either of us on a shelf inside the door. Problem is, my neighbor is a retired lady who has been on vacation, just got back today, and found the package (postage dated from last week). Second problem is that the slip saying I had a package somehow didn't make it to my house (with 4 different family members getting the mail, who knows? and I'm not pointing fingers).

A huge, huge (belated) thank-you to Talitha. I borrowed The New Complete Book of Self-Sufficiency last summer through inter-library loan (our library gets it from another one willing to loan it) and fell in love with it. I tried to take notes, but it's so chock-filled with wonderful stuff that I finally gave up, vowing to buy this book when I could afford it. As of today, thanks to Talitha, I have my own copy!!

Talitha, if you've read my other posts from the last 2 days (in the Health section), you know it's been particularly rough lately. Your act of kindness was, in the truest sense of the word, a godsend. Bless you, my friend! (It was so nice to cry some very happy, grateful tears this afternoon )

Some people search for happiness; others create it.

Patti,
Oh I am so glad you got it!!! I was worried if it made it to you or not! And I was gone with asthma attacks with my kids for the past two weeks or so, so I missed this post! I am so thrilled it came just when you needed it!! Think of you often and am so glad if it was able to cheer you even the tinyest bit!! Enjoy it and know it came with tons of warm hugs and happy wishes!!
And as always,
Hugz!
Talitha
