I figure this gives us plenty of time to do this each group will be of 10 people.
Since the last one is almost done.I thought I would host another one.
10 people per group. If we end up with more than 10 people I will make more groups.
This swap is about EVERYTHING fourth of July! Red White Blue and patriotic you know
You will make 10 handcrafted things based on the theme- one for everyone in the group. You will send all of your items to me along with $9.00 for return postage ( I think that will be the new flat rate box price). I will then send you a box with 1 item from everyone in the group.
I will limit this swap to 10 people. but if we get more I will open another swap
The deadline to send items to me will be June 15th I will try to get them all swapped out and sent back to you a few days later That way you will have it in time to decorate
Deadline to sign up May 15
If you want to sign up post here and then I will send you my mailing information.

Well...glory be! Unclaimed!!?? I can't imagine why that would be? I'm a stay at home mom...I'm home every day! Goodness. Oh well, at least the mystery has been solved and the package has surfaced and we will probably never know it's real story (the post office probably found it, kicked under a shelf somewhere..lol). Thank you so much Sunshine for all of your headache this has caused!

I was just talking about that earlier every now and again the post office tries to make us believe they know what they are doing the fact that the address was correct is another story.

your never going to believe what showed up in the mail today.Bevs package came back to me today it says they tried to mail it three times and came back as unclaimed. They tried on the 7-18-07 again on 7-28-07 and lastly on 8-7-07 the address is correct as she sent it to me again yesterday so I could mail a new package. I am going to take her email and the package to the post office and see it this can try again as maybe it was because she was at girls camp but I thought girls camp was only 1 week so who knows our postal system is so hosed.

Bev we have a package left over from the mothersday swap not the same items as this swap but the person in that swap was never able to make their items so the package was never sent to her she said she would be happy if it went to you so you are not taking anything away from anyone. It is a package of Farmgirl made items I didn't have a clue as to what to do with as it wasn't mine. Please send me your address and I will get this out to you. And you are not shorting anyone. well...welcome back Bev...maybe it will show up...you just never know with these things. If you go to your postoffice and ask around, it may be in with packages that havent found there way home...i have gotten a few that way! |

sorry Sunshine...I've been so busy, I'm Girls Camp director and we are actually in the midst of camp right now (I snuck home for a 1/2 day!), plus my DD has had cheer practice 2, sometimes 3 times a day getting ready for regionals...but, they WON! I haven't received my package, but don't you dare send me any of yours! It wasn't in any way your fault...just one of those things! I was going to sign up for the Halloween swap, but I'm already in the pillowcase swap and I'm afraid I wouldn't have time. If my July package show up, that's great, if not, no worries...I know you did your best! Don't give this another thought..really...on with the Halloween swap!

I am so sorry that I did not get in touch with you sooner. Some minor family "problems" have kept me away from the computer and I am just now getting your messages. I have not even visited the MJ Forums for quite a few weeks now. But yes, I did get my swap package in July. Everything was wonderful and I appreciate it so much. Thank you to you for hosting this...in light of the problems you are having, it can't always be easy to host a swap. So I appreciate all the work that you did (are doing) for this one.

bev and backyardtreasures. if you don't have these in 1 week i will divide 2/3 of my stuff with you both as A few things have been used so I don't want to send you used items. Then I will add things I have made to equal 10 things each is this ok with both of you as I am very frustrated with the mail service and I want to make this right. Neither of you have complained and been great about the whole thing but I am complaining for you this is crazy. So if you could both send me your mailing addresses and keep me informed if you get these items by Saturday if not Monday Aug 12 i will send a new package. Sorry it won't have every thing from the swap but I will make sure there are 10 things in it all hand made.
