My right knee has really been hurting the last few days. Although it doesn't really look swollen it feels like it is. When I bend my knee I can hear a squishy noise and I can feel it "grinding" together. I asked the school nurse today and she said it was a fluid buildup or "water on the knee" that probably occured from twisting or bumping it(can't remember doing eaither). It REALLY hurts and has been keeping me up at night. By the end of the school day it is really painful since I have been on my feet all day. Has anyone else had this problem and do you have any remedies?

I would really suggest seeing a dr. to rule out infection.
Best of wishes.
