Anyone have experience with West Nile in a person? I think my 13 yo may have West Nile Fever. She has a slight rash over her belly and back and a sore throat. It was the only thing that seemed to match both symptoms. She is also a bit achy, but thought maybe she was sore from camp. Maybe a slight fever.

I use an alternative MD that uses a machine called Zyto testing. It is the best thing to hit the planet. I highly recommend it for anyone.

Strep doesn't make sense, as you said her rash is on her stomach and back... strep with a rash is usually scarlet fever, but it usually starts on her neck and chest. Any way it is mono?

Same I was thinking. Now, however, she has white patches on her throat. So I am thinking Strep. Grrr...

I had commented in the hen house, but wanted to here as well... if it is West Nile, you are dealing with a virus... so there is not a cure, but rather her body needs to fight it... echinacea and garlic are both great immune boosters... thieves essential oils may help as well. If she starts showing signs of confusion, altered mental status, really bad headache, take her in and get her seen!
