Posted - Nov 17 2014 : 1:42:18 PM My knee pain got out of control enough that my sweetheart had to take me in. Ugh! They changed my pain med once again, took exrays and gave me a shot and a new knee brace. Not my best day. The pain is not gone today, but is better. I dont get to see the orthopedic surgeon until dec. 11th. I already know i am headed for a total knee replacement. Not looking forward to that. I had my left knee replaced 5 years ago so i know what to expect. Trying not to be a big baby but i hate being stuck sitting with my leg stiff and elevated. Geez..got stuff to do!

Posted - Nov 19 2014 : 2:20:03 PM Thanks so much gals. My knee is feeling a little better. I am babying it all i can. The knee imobilizer brace thing helps alot but really is hard to ride in the car or sit without my foot up. I have all sorts of nicknames for the way i walk in it too. Haha,. Oh well. Doing all the sitting projects i can when it hurts most and getting things done in between. We have grandbabies coming for a week so i need to rest it up before they get here! It just started to rain so it is the perfect indoor day!

Posted - Nov 19 2014 : 10:11:09 AM Sorry to hear about your knee, Aunt Jenny! Painful joints are so hard to deal with because we use them everyday as we move around. I hope your Dec. 11 appointment will bring a plan forward that will give you some peace of mind. In the meantime, I guess you will have to baby the knee and get caught up on some sitting projects. Take care and I hope your knee will feel better after yesterday's treatment.

Posted - Nov 17 2014 : 1:59:18 PM So sorry to hear you're having knee problems, Aunt Jenny. If your replaced knee has freed you from pain, I guess we're lucky you can sign up for a few new parts as needed because you have some serious glampin' and trampin' to do with that new honey of yours!
