Posted - Nov 14 2006 : 09:18:01 AM Karen- I was recently diagnosed w/ sleep apnea and already knew I had fibromyalgia before this began. Thank you for sharing this info, since all the arthritis drugs have been removed from the market, those of us with chronic pain have been left with few really effective treatments. Although I would prefer to age without alot of meds, NATURE has done this to me! I think there is a misconception that if it's natural,it's safe. Not always true and I would rather function and be pain free, and make informed decisions to how I will accomplish that pharmaeceutically or botanically. Thanks for sharing Karen, I hope you have found relief, it's no fun being in unrelenting pain. Be well!

Posted - Oct 22 2006 : 1:04:41 PM The rehumatologist prescribed this for me but I haven't been taking it. I am very leery of pharmaceutacils and not to thrilled with the idea of an antidepressant.
  Sigh.. still contemplating.

Posted - Oct 04 2006 : 9:21:13 PM FYI, I am an ER nurse, read a very lengthy dissertation and read that a lack of rem sleep might be contributory. I have to tell you, I didn't sleep very well for a couple of years and lots of funky aches and pains. I have none of those anymore and I've been sleeping well, who knows?
