We are firm believers in Sambucus (Elderberry Syrup), honey/lemon and green tea. I am one of those odd people that do not believe in flu shots and have used natural remedies for years. But I am always interested in what other folks use that work for them.

I too take the syrup. Once a day during the height of flu season-twice a day if someone around us is sick
Have also tried the Sambucol tablets. Follow the directions to the letter |

Posted - Oct 25 2011 : 4:17:35 PM Echinacea, vitamin c,colloidial silver, ginger, raw garlic clove minced with honey, green tea w/honey and of course lemon water are usually what we use :) I have heard really good things about elderberry syrup though I just haven't gotten around to use it. Although in the past 3 years of marriage I've only had to get out the cold remedies about once or twice :) Thankfully!
