Posted - Sep 21 2011 : 11:12:14 AMI'm actually looking forward to it too! I've been in near constant pain since Labor Day weekend from a bum tooth. Went to the dentist close to home and had a root canal scheduled for last week but when I met the endodontist I knew he was not right for me. I have several teeth that will be needing root canals and crowns and between the dentist and the endodontist they were going to charge me $2000. per tooth and no insurance. He was a jerk when I told him my plight and asked if he could give me a discount on future root canals. He told me his services were my discount! I said thanks very much, got off the chair and left. Wound up coming back to my old home town in Colorado and went to my old dentist who will charge $1100. per tooth for both the root canal and crown!
