Applying some powdered probiotics directly to the sores may help. Using tea tree oil may also help. Clove oil is also good and will help with pain.

I take the L-lysine and warm salt water. I also use toothpaste that does not contain sodium laurel sulfate.

Hey Patricia,

I'm sorry you are hurting.

Once in awhile I get canker sores (usually when my resistance is low) I take L-Lysine supplements and swish warm salt water around my mouth to help it heal quicker. I have heard that Rosebud Salve works great for cold sores. I hope you feel better soon!
