I think I have a mild case of the flu, but I'm not sure. My throat has been sore, I ache all over, and have respiratory issues. I also tossed and turned all night long last night. didn't go to work today. I guess it's the flu, but isn't this kind of late to be getting it?

I checked the CDC map this morning and the flu is every where!

Here at the house DH missed five days and finally went in this morning. I had it last month and since Tuesday I have it again---I NEVER get sick! The flu has hit my house twice in as many months.

I think you might be in for the long haul Cindy. Drink lots of tea if you can keep it down.

Nini--I've been taking a supplement that has echinacea and goldenseal--it's a capsule, so I guess I could make a tea out of it. Actually, that sounds pretty good right now--thanks for pointing me in the right direction! A cup of hot tea sounds just what I need.

Oh yeah... that sounds about right. You poor thing! I don't think it's the scarey flu, but it's a flue for sure, Cindy. We had it here for about 10 days or so in the fall and then again after the holidays. It felt like we'd never shake it, but it passed. Hang in there! What really helped were some herbal teas from the grocery store: Breathe Easy, Cold Care and there is one other that I can't remember off hand. I'd be glad to pick some up for you and mail it right out, if you want me to! Just email me! :) Hugs - Nini
