Posted - Jan 26 2011 : 06:54:27 AM I know my child would not be happy I posted, but without saying which one, I have to let you all know this.
For years one child wet the bed. We tried everything - eliminating processed food, cut back on drinks at night, food allergies etc. We had doctors do very expensive procedures - they came up with nothing.
We, although cannot really afford it, have been buying organic milk for the last 3 weeks. We cut back on what we drink of it, so we can have the "good" stuff. Since we have, that one child has stopped wetting the bed. The hormones and junk they put in non-organic milk really put havoc on her body. I can't imagine what it has been doing to the rest of us.
I wanted to share because it took years and years to discover the source.

Posted - Jan 26 2011 : 07:54:24 AM Wow, I am always amazed to hear the stories of how organic food can make such a big difference! I am reading a book on tooth health and one of the big things in it is having dairy products from grassfed, organic cows! Also whole grain foods and not the denatured flours and sugars and other products we have access too today. Since I made the switch to organic milk I have also noticed a difference in my families health as a whole! I'm so glad you were able to figure out what the problem was!

Posted - Jan 26 2011 : 07:10:57 AM I feel so sorry for your child for all he/she had to go through because of what we do to our food. I'm glad the problem is resolved. I feel for all of our kids who have to put up with the results of what we do to our food.

Posted - Jan 26 2011 : 07:03:18 AM Kristina, that is dreadful. I'm glad you figured it out and I hope your daughter will feel better. It is a bit hard on a child to deal with that issue.
