Any home remedies for an ear infection. With the changing of the seaons we are all walking around here with stuffy heads and runny noses. I too have been blessed with the gift of an ear infection. Its the kind that makes your ear feel raw.
I call it a mix blessing.hehe It muffles the sound of the kids fighting (lol) but it sure does hurt.
Recommendations are most appreciated! I don't care to go to the drs if I can fix it myself. This is about day 3 of it steady though it was off and on all last week.

hugs

My hubby's mom used to put sweet oil in his ears when he was a kid.

It is medical grade olive oil. Find it in the pharmacy.

Vitamin D-3 helps a great deal for our family. A few drops of sweet oil in the ear, too. Get better soon.

Thanks Kris. I will go tomorrow and see if I can't find the drops. I have elderberry tea at the house. Would that work? Or does it need be syrup?
Thanks for the help

Jessie, you need to go get some elderberry syrup. It's great to keep away all the little sickies. I don't like to go to doctors either. I just made my own syrup with some berries I found our=t back. I am going to start taking it now just to keep from getting anything. You can find it at the health food stores like Whole Foods.

And for ear infections or ear aches, they also have olive oil and garlic drops. They are great for kids. I have used them with my grands when they had ear aches. They smell like French bread but it's good.

I sure hope ya'll get over this quick.

Hugs, Kris
