Hello!!
I spend a lot of time outdoors during the summer and I know that excessive sun sometimes triggers my fever blisters--I make my own lip balm, which I LOVE, but it doesn't contain any sun screen stuff---can I purchase that? I wouldn't even know what to look for...in the meantime,
do you have any suggestions or preferences regarding an over the counter lip balm with sunscreen that really works?

Just saw your post. Badger makes a sunblock lipbalm that I really like. It's active ingrediant is zinc oxide. It feels good, smells good, and works really well. I buy it at our local health food store. Suzanne |

Melaleuca makes one called Sun Shades. Let me know if you would like to try it and I will get you one.

Avon makes their "Moisture Therapy" intensive balm with SPF 15. We discovered it during our AVON Walk for Breast Cancer events . . it's one of their participant giveaways . . but you can purchase it too.

I just bought Burts Bees sunscreen and the package came with a bonus SPF lip balm, so they do make it.

I think Burt's Bees lip balm has SPF 15 in it. I'm not sure, though.
