We had lunch today with friends and both of our little ones (3 and a half)decided it would be fun to kick under the table. I tried to stop DS and he kicked my hand under the table into the bottom of the table. The table was made of wood and set with tile. My finger obviously lost the battle.

We went to urgent care to make sure it wasnt broken and thankfully its not, but it is badly sprained.

I am bummed because this is my busy shows and gallery season and work will be slow going.

Ice and tylenol are my friends.

On the upside. my DS kissed my hand and told me he was sorry and he said I needed a bandaid. Its hard to stay mad at a cutie. It was an accident.

Oh I hope it heals quickly! My little one conked me on the head with her head just this morning and I thought I saw stars for a second. Those kiddos sure can be strong when they want to be! Ouch!!

comfrey, arnica, and Ice. Do not forget the ice, it will take the pain and swelling out.

Thanks. I will try the comfrey. I use arnica all the time. I put some on as soon as I got home. I can barely bend the finger. It will heal.

Do you have any comfrey?? If you do make a strong tea and soak it a couple time a day. Works wonders. As does a little arnica gel a couple time a day.

Do what you love, love what you do.

I am so sorry. I know how important those fingers are. I have to be extra careful with mine or I'll be in trouble. Can't milk goats with a hurt finger. I hope your gets better quickly and your back to normal soon.
