maybe the flu. Darn. I have had a dry hacking cough for a few days now. Woke up this morning with my chest hurting when I cough. Also a headache all night. Every time I cough it hurts my head. Feels like it's going to pop. Also a slight fever now and I am so cold. It's warm outside but I can't get my house warm enuf. And my neck is so sore and hurting, too. Shoot. I was just at Mrs. T's yesterday, too. I stayed home today. She just called. She's so sweet. I told her if it's any worse I will go to the walk-in clinic in town in the morning. Also a stuffy nose. Could be just a cold, but who knows. I was at the hardware store yesterday and these 2 girls came in looking for those masks.
I know other people are sick and it's all over, but please pray for me. I don't like being sick. I was supposed to watch Kansas tonight for my DD to go to a class but I called her and told her not to bring her over here. I have been giving Kansas an immune builder ever since school started. So I hope it helps. She's good so far!

I am so tired of being in bed! It's now 2:00 in the morning. My temp is 101. I had to take off all my warm pj's and am now in a short sleeve nighty. Had to turn the heat back down, too. Man, I'm either burning up or freezing and shivering. I also feel like I could throw up any minute, too. Yuck! I am so sick of being sick! How do people stay in bed for days at a time? I would have to be drugged for sure. I wish I had a sleeping pill.

So glad its not the flu, however I know you don't feel good, I wish you a speedy recovery. I need to get off this computer and do something constructive! I'm just so blaaaah today, its cold outside, I think I need a nap! See ya soon I hope!

Hello ya'll. Sorry I took so long. I was at the doctor 3 1/2 hours. All I wanted to do was climb in my bed. I do not have flu!!! Thank you Lord! I don't have strep! I just have that horrid awful bad sore throat like I get every year. I should have known. I still feel like crud. My temp is still almost 102. She gave me a scrip for the Z-pack that usually knocks it right out in a few days. I hope it works. I don't remember the fever. Or hurting so bad before.
So thank you all SO MUCH for all the good thoughts and especially for the help of milking goats. Come on over in the morning, Kelly and Sarah! Naw, just kidding. I think I will be much better by then. But thanks anyway.

Oh Kris, DO go to the doctor, this flu is nothing to take a chance with. Poor dear, I wish I lived close by, I'm pretty good with milking. I hope that you feel better soon. I didn't get any flu shots and ended up with the dratted flu and don't even remember some of the days I was sick...it hits hard and is a nasty one this year.

Kristin, your fever goes up at night, if its a 104 now, you need to go to the ER, urgent care, clinic now, that flu is nothing to mess with.

I just took my temp. It's just 100.4. But I can't get warm. I am shaking. I am going to take a hot shower and go to bed. I will go to the doc in the morning. But I will call first. I don't want to go in with a fever. How do people do this? And I can't drink alot when I'm sick because I just have to keep going to the bathroom! I did not get a flu shot. Never have. I guess it's too late for that now.
Good night, ya'll. I check back in tomorrow. Anyone want to come milk some goats for me in the morning?! Ha ha!

my mom had what you had Kristin and is doing much better now. And she didn't get the flu shot. Hope you feel better soon!

Oh Kris! I am so sorry you are sick! I am just getting over a chest infection/ pneumonia so I can sympathize! Make sure you really stay hydrated. Drink about 2 times as much fluid as you think you need!!
