Posted - Mar 03 2006 : 5:19:23 PM I have started going in for acupuncture. I started with a chiropractor who also does acupuncture about 3 weeks ago (25 miles away). A week ago Thursday Feb 23rd, I went to a presentation by a new acupuncturist to my area (3 miles away). I got alot of info that the chirpractor never shared with me. This past Wednesday, March 1st, I started see her and I think she is going to make a difference with me. I'm going for STRESS, swelling of legs, and need of weightloss. I had a 1/2 hour treatment, plus ear beads for the rest of the week. I'm going to go 2x a week for the month of March and then we will re-evaluate my progress. I think the stress treatment is working somewhat already.
Has anyone else been doing acupuncture? KarenP

Posted - Mar 08 2006 : 4:22:45 PM I've have tried acupuncture once (for several sessions) to assist in breaking a bad habit - and I was so nervous to go at first! I really thought it would hurt. The practitioner was an older asian woman who was so patient and kind and SO interesting. I do believe it helped, AND I don't think I stuck with it long enough. Keep us posted on what you think...
XOXO, Libbie
