Hi Sheila, if you mean you have irritation from urine getting on your skin or the moisture setting up a yeast type infection you might try clotrimazole which is otc to apply externally to your skin in the irritated area after a gentle cleansing. If you're very sore get yourself a squirt bottle and fill it with warm water and spray yourself clean then gently pat yourself dry afterwards. Use unscented toilet paper when you do use it. Wear cotton only panties and avoid harsh soaps to the area. Follow the directions on the ointment tube. It may take a good couple of weeks or more to clear it up. You can also use a moisture barrier type cream at bedtime that will help keep your skin from breaking down. Something like Vaseline, Sween cream or Baza antifungal moisture barrier cream. Please understand I am not a doctor and these are only suggestions of some things which MIGHT help. If it was me,these are things I might try. I am not prescribing this to you and would tell you that your best bet is to talk with your family doctor or urologist who can give you many options. I am so sorry you're having such discomfort. I know this is a difficult problem to handle.

This product is new; it is brought over the counter ; much like the stuff you buy for yest infections.
I have heard of what you are talking about.
You know it is awful to have to wear pads all day long , every day.
I have tried the excerises ; but they haven't helped.
I also have a hernia
inconctince (sp) and bladder stress.
I think I am falling apart
with all my diseases and condition, ha. hugs sheila

Is it Gelnique? It's a gel form of a common prescription called oxybutynin. It is new and as such might be $$$. I don't really remember what the drug rep said about price.

It's not about being perfect, but enjoying what you do. Set aside time to be creative.
