Farmgirls my daughter gave me a copy of the premier issue of a new magazine that is about beauty products, etc that is all organic. It is so awesome I had to tell all of you about it. It is called:
"ORGANIC BEAUTY" Green*Natural*Eco Friendly

Teresa Sue, does it have recipes in it? I've been looking for a magazine like that for a long time.

Kay, FYI Aveeno has a lot of dimethicone in it, so if your problem persists, that might be your allergy (fairly common)! Here's more info:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polydimethylsiloxane

It's in *everything.*

Thanks for the info on the make your own cosmetics. I was just diagnosed with super dry skin and a really nasty case of eczema so my doctor is recommending Aveeno right now until I'm healed and then as organic and natural as I can get to keep my skin clear. Has anyone tried the website because I was actually going to try going without make up, but that's not a pretty option. Unfortunately, Bare Minerals doesn't work for me and I've had one of their reps work with me on it. I can use all the info I can get right now.

I use natural products such as bareminerals, but my issue is nail polish. There are very few nail polishes without formaldehyde and other yucky ingredients. I don't feel like a lady if my toenails aren't done. Thanks for the link, Maggie, and the magazine, Teresa Sue.

Blessings!
