PS walmart use to sell a special soap for diabetics too.

I like caress as well, but I find just a natural soap works great. (bee and flower)

Also don't use alcohol to clean your fingers for testing, instead just wash your hands with a gentle/mild soap. The alcohol will dry fingers real fast, for no real reasons.

If you are out and about unless you have been touching either sugary things, or your hands are truly dirty I see no reason to have to clean them if you aren't near a washroom.

However if you are on insulin then it is very important to use alcohol on the shot site! Other wise you could get skin infections.

Walmart sells some, they used to sell their own brand of it called Reli on. But, "fingers" is made for diabetics. Like I said some walmarts sell their own brand of it. Ask the pharmacist. Or just look in the diabetic supply part of any pharmacy.

I use the Gold Bond in the white bottle. I even use it on my face if the weather is wickedly cold here.

And drink lots of water, and exfoliate. Both help.

I tried using "natural/organic" lotions from my co-op, but they don't help at all. So, I went back to using Gold Bond.

I have really dry hair as a result of diabetes as well. (However, my scalp is oily )
My friend uses Eucerin Cooling something or other, and swears by it.

I use the kinds that has extra softners in them.
I also use Caress body shower gel.
My skin is like a baby's always has been
I try to take good care of my skin.
Oh, the Yardly with the oatmeal in it is extra good too
Most all of their products is good; but expensive.
note
When you want to try some kind of new lotions; try to get the smallest bottles
Oh
Aveeno is good tooo.
I use that on my face , as my make up base
and Lorieall(sp) powder make up.
